Brotato Tier List

A Top-Down Shooter game developed by Blobfish. The game, which came out of early access on June 23, 2023, is now fully available. We have prepared the Brotato Tier List for you. The list, created by our editors based on their experiences with the game, will be updated to reflect changes in the game balance through future updates. We present our list for your review:

Tier List Overview Criteria

  • T0: This is the highest tier in a tier list, reserved for the most powerful or effective options in the game. Characters or strategies in this tier are considered to be essential picks for competitive play and are often banned in tournaments.
  • T1: This tier is just below T0-tier and includes characters or strategies that are still very strong and effective, but not quite as dominant as those in the T0-tier.
  • T2: This tier includes characters or strategies that are considered to be average or balanced in terms of their strength and effectiveness. They may have some strengths and weaknesses, but they are not as dominant as those in the higher tiers.
  • T3: This is the lowest tier in a tier list, reserved for the weakest or least effective options in the game. Characters or strategies in this tier are often considered to be inferior to other options and may be rarely used in competitive play.

It’s important to note that the exact definitions and criteria for each tier can vary depending on the game and the community creating the tier list. Additionally, a character or strategy’s placement in a tier list is not always an accurate reflection of its overall strength or effectiveness, as factors such as player skill and game balance can also play a significant role.

Best Brotato Builds

6 Slingshots

Initially underestimated, these slingshots bounce between targets and can attack multiple units with each shot. Upgrading the Slingshot for more bounces is recommended. The Primitive Bonus also boosts maximum HP.

6 Pistols

Pistols offer a combination of power, attack speed, and bullet piercing. You can easily swap out one pistol for a different type without losing effectiveness, and in some cases, it may even improve your performance.

6 Tasers

These are useful for boosting materials. They slow down enemies and grant a Harvesting boost, providing extra resources when waves end. They work exceptionally well with the Mage class when combined with a Wand (5 Tasers and 1 Wand).

6 Wrenches

Ideal for the Engineering class. Each Wrench creates a turret that upgrades alongside your character.

6 Fists

Super Cheap and surprisingly effective. They have an Unarmed Bonus that significantly increases dodge chance and a knockback effect. Fully upgraded fists are considered the best melee weapons in the game.

6 Shotguns

Extremely powerful weapons that benefit from upgrades in attack speed and ranged damage. Combining them with Lifesteal is effective.

6 SMGs

These weapons help exploit the Lifesteal effect due to their quick attack speed. Combining them with Bandana and Ricochet upgrades is recommended.

6 Sticks

These primitive weapons gain power as you hold more of them. They are particularly useful for the Lumberjack or Wildling classes. The Multitasker class can equip 12 Sticks.

6 Spears

These powerful melee weapons may be slow, but they have the longest reach among melee weapons. They can hit multiple targets in a single attack, making them excellent for the Speedy class.

3 Spears, 3 Slingshots

This build combines Spears and Slingshots to deliver a solid overall assault using primitive weapons. It works well for the Generalist class and other classes that enjoy both melee and ranged combat. The Primitive Bonus provides extra health, while the attack speed is increased.
