Critical Ops Weapons Tier List

The game Critical Ops was released in 2015, but with continuous updates since its release, it has managed to maintain a lively player base and still hosts a very high number of players today. Here, we share with you the Critical Ops Weapons Tier List prepared by us, which we constantly update along with new updates.

Tier List Overview Criteria

  • T0: This is the highest tier in a tier list, reserved for the most powerful or effective options in the game. Characters or strategies in this tier are considered to be essential picks for competitive play and are often banned in tournaments.
  • T1: This tier is just below T0-tier and includes characters or strategies that are still very strong and effective, but not quite as dominant as those in the T0-tier.
  • T2: This tier includes characters or strategies that are considered to be average or balanced in terms of their strength and effectiveness. They may have some strengths and weaknesses, but they are not as dominant as those in the higher tiers.
  • T3: This is the lowest tier in a tier list, reserved for the weakest or least effective options in the game. Characters or strategies in this tier are often considered to be inferior to other options and may be rarely used in competitive play.

It’s important to note that the exact definitions and criteria for each tier can vary depending on the game and the community creating the tier list. Additionally, a character or strategy’s placement in a tier list is not always an accurate reflection of its overall strength or effectiveness, as factors such as player skill and game balance can also play a significant role.

About The Game

Critical Ops, commonly known as C-OPS, is a tactical first-person shooter developed by Critical Force Entertainment. It serves as the sequel and successor to Critical Strike Portable. The game was initially launched on August 14, 2015, as a browser version on Facebook. However, it later transitioned to Facebook Gameroom on August 30, 2016. On September 30, 2015, it became available on Google Play, and a soft launch for selected countries on the App Store took place on May 2, 2016. Amazon saw its release on June 30, 2017.

While it shares its game mechanics with Counter Strike, Critical Ops distinguishes itself with a more intricate visual style, larger maps, a wider array of weapons, and the inclusion of Weapon Skins. Currently, the game offers three selectable Game Modes, 22 Weapons, and 20 playable Maps. Notably, Critical Ops does not feature maps from other games like Dust 2 from Counter Strike or any maps from Critical Strike Portable. Additionally, it does not currently support community-made Maps.

On July 10, 2017, the PC platform for Critical Ops was deactivated. This decision was made due to the significant resource and time investment required for a fraction of the player base, as Critical Force’s primary focus shifted towards mobile platforms.

Critical Ops maintains the core objective found in Critical Strike Portable, which is to eliminate the opposing team in order to prevent them from accomplishing their designated objective. Players have the option to join either the Counter-Terrorist or Terrorist team. Before a match begins, there is an initial buying intermission, and once it concludes, both teams can commence their search for enemy players.

The game offers a variety of Game Modes, including:

  • Defuse: In this scenario, Terrorists attempt to plant C4 explosives while Counter-Terrorists strive to prevent them. The game can also end if all players from one of the teams are eliminated.
  • Deathmatch: Teams compete to increase their overall Kill count and surpass the enemy team’s count before time runs out.
  • Gun Game: Players start with an MP5 and progress through 15 levels, acquiring a new weapon for each enemy player they eliminate. To win, they must achieve a kill with their knife at Level 15.
  • Ranked Defuse: Similar to Defuse mode, but players are ranked based on wins and Kill-to-Death Ratio (KDR) in timed templates between games.

Additionally, there are special Game Modes that are periodically available and replace Gun Game when active.

The main menu includes a shop where players can purchase credits or earn them through missions. These credits can be used to open skin packs and obtain weapon skins randomly.

Maps in Critical Ops are immersive and diverse playable areas that serve as locations for gameplay. Each map offers its own unique layout and characteristics. Some maps are specifically designed for certain Game Modes. For example, Brewery is exclusively available in Deathmatch and Gun Game modes. Currently, there are a total of 21 maps available in the game.

It’s worth mentioning that there is also a Tutorial Map in Critical Ops, which is solely dedicated to guiding players through the game’s basics and mechanics. However, this tutorial map cannot be played online and is exclusively used for the tutorial purposes.
