T0 (Best Tier)

  1. SP LL Beast Gohan BLU – The formidable BEAST, Gohan, has landed in Dragon Ball Legends, ushering in the DBS: Super Hero celebration alongside SP Pan RED and SP Super Piccolo PUR. SP LL Beast Gohan BLU reigns as the game’s mightiest Fighter, boasting a near-flawless kit tailored for the current meta. His arsenal includes ample cover nullification, multiple vanish restoration methods, type-neutrality enhancements, and the most potent Damage output available. Furthermore, he aligns with the game’s premier team. Defensively, his exceptional stats and 60% Damage Reduction hold their own.
  2. SP LL Super Saiyan Gohan (Yellow) – SP LL Future Gohan YEL, the inaugural Legends Limited Fighter of 2021, arrives as a unique addition. As a one-armed Future Gohan iteration, he aims to bolster Hybrid Saiyan and Future Tag teams with his versatile capabilities, though he excels across the board without specializing in any one aspect.
  3. SP Pan (Red) – SP Pan RED emerges as a game-changing support Fighter, akin to SP Vados GRN. She significantly enhances any team’s Damage output while disrupting foes with Ki reduction and Main Ability sealing. While her defenses have slightly waned after buffs, she remains a top-tier Fighter, primarily due to the utility she brings.
  4. SP Final Form Cooler (Red) – SP LL Final Form Cooler RED, the first sparking iteration since November 2019, has revolutionized the DB Legends meta with his exceptionally powerful unique abilities. Cooler specializes in offense, excelling at neutralizing opponents with his 2-timer count lock-in upon landing a Strike Arts attack. Facing him, yellow Fighters become a liability. While his defensive capabilities are lacking, his offensive prowess more than compensates.

T1 (Excellent Tier)

  1. UL Legendary Super Saiyan Broly (Purple) – The Ultra Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, the culmination of the Powerful Opponent Campaign, is a force to be reckoned with. UL Broly PUR is a disruptive Fighter with remarkable durability against top-tier opponents, offering decent Damage output, especially with his potent Ultimate Arts Card.
  2. UL Super Gogeta (Blue) – The first summonable ULTRA Rarity Fighter, Super Gogeta BLU, debuts in Dragon Ball Legends with unparalleled attributes. He’s the only Fighter capable of using his Ultimate Arts Card twice and boasts the Attack Unique Gauge, ensuring consistent access to his powerful Special Move Arts Card. Defensively, he gains 50% Damage Reduction at the battle’s start, which can rise to 70% for the next combo. His ability to lock opponents in and neutralize element factors post-ally defeat makes him a dominant force.
  3. UL Super Vegito (Yellow) – UL Super Vegito YEL introduces the “Counter Gauge” to Dragon Ball Legends, allowing him to counter Blast Arts with Strike Arts when the gauge surpasses 30%. Offensively, Vegito can dish out devastating Damage while debuffing opponents with each Arts card used, and his Arts Card Draw Speed increases enhance his combo potential. Defensively, he maintains above-average Defense stats and enjoys a 70% Damage Reduction for 15 timer counts upon entry.
  4. SP Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta (Green) – LL SP SSB Vegeta GRN has finally undergone his Zenkai Awakening, though the impact is less dramatic than anticipated. He combines solid Damage ramp-up with team support and features a game-changing lock-in Ultimate Arts Card. Defensively, he offers 60% reduced Damage received on cover and 20% reduced Damage without cover.

T2 (Good Tier)

  1. SP LL Super Saiyan Trunks (Teen) (Green) – LL SP SSJ Trunks GRN excels offensively, particularly in the early game, thanks to his Extra Arts Card that draws a powerful Ultimate Arts Card. His Blast Armor ability grants him priority in neutral. Defensively, Trunks isn’t exceptional but can sustain himself to some extent with healing from his Extra Arts and Main Ability.
  2. LL SP SSJ3 Goku (Dragon Fist) (Green) – LL SP SSJ3 Goku (Dragon Fist) GRN, the 4th Year Anniversary Part 2 headliner Fighter, lives up to expectations. He’s an offensive powerhouse with impressive entry Damage, a subtle ramp-up Ability, and cover-nullification capabilities. His unique gauge adds new dynamics to battle, enhancing his vanish manipulation and lock-in Special Move Arts. However, his defensive capabilities are limited.
  3. SP Super Saiyan 4 Goku (Yellow) – LL SP SSJ4 Goku YEL, the first Legends Limited Fighter for the GT Tag, arrives with high expectations but falls short. While boasting stunning animations, he struggles offensively, even at 14 stars. His defensive capabilities, although providing some damage reduction, leave room for improvement.
  4. SP Super Saiyan Gohan (Youth) (Purple) – A fearsome addition from the Bojack Unbound Movie, LL SP SSJ2 Youth Gohan PUR transforms the Hybrid Saiyan team with his revival mechanic. Unlike previous revival Fighters, Gohan enjoys a substantial stat boost upon transforming, rivaling or surpassing some of the game’s most potent Zenkai Fighters. Many consider him the new premier Legends Limited Fighter.

T3 (Average Tier)

  1. SP LL Majin Vegeta (Blue) – Majin Vegeta returns as a Legends Limited Fighter, offering devastating Offensive capabilities combined with Damage Reduction, making him a formidable adversary. His Damage Inflicted Buffs and crippling Special Move Arts Card grant him a strong position within Saiyan and Vegeta Family Teams.
  2. SP Ultra Instinct Goku (Red) – SP LL MUI Goku RED arrives as a game-changing Fighter, excelling in both offense and defense. His unique abilities automate gameplay elements and grant him impressive counter capabilities. However, his vulnerability to Damage limits his overall sustainability. He’s undoubtedly one of the game’s top Fighters.
  3. SP Mecha Frieza (Purple) – SP Mecha Frieza PUR bolsters the L.O.E team’s defenses as an exceptional tank. His primary role lies in locking opponents in and absorbing damage from formidable foes. While his offensive capabilities are somewhat lacking, he excels in supporting his team’s durability.
  4. SP Whis (Purple) – SP Whis PUR, the first SPARKING Whis Fighter in Dragon Ball Legends, introduces the “Obscure” ability, shuffling enemy cards to create uncertainty. He serves as a support Fighter, offering team healing and enhancing his allies’ sustainability, particularly within the God-Ki tag. Used strategically, he can lead to decisive victories.

Tier Ranking Criteria

  • T0: This is the highest tier in a tier list, reserved for the most powerful or effective options in the game. Characters or strategies in this tier are considered to be essential picks for competitive play and are often banned in tournaments.
  • T1: This tier is just below T0-tier and includes characters or strategies that are still very strong and effective, but not quite as dominant as those in the T0-tier.
  • T2: This tier includes characters or strategies that are considered to be average or balanced in terms of their strength and effectiveness. They may have some strengths and weaknesses, but they are not as dominant as those in the higher tiers.
  • T3: This is the lowest tier in a tier list, reserved for the weakest or least effective options in the game. Characters or strategies in this tier are often considered to be inferior to other options and may be rarely used in competitive play.

It’s important to note that the exact definitions and criteria for each tier can vary depending on the game and the community creating the tier list. Additionally, a character or strategy’s placement in a tier list is not always an accurate reflection of its overall strength or effectiveness, as factors such as player skill and game balance can also play a significant role.
